How to retrofit a CNC plasma & drilling to through spindle spray lubrication

This moderately sized drill can be retrofitted onto medium to heavy duty style machines. It has an 8HP (@ 100% duty cycle!) BT-40 tool interface and up to 4000rpm. The machine will take up to 28mm diameter drills. Using latest tooling technology, this drill is designed to rapid drill holes in an unprecedented amount of time, thereby increasing your productivity. The drill head is fitted with a Unist Tornado system which delivers 10ml/hour of Coolube 2210 metal cutting oil, through the spindle and then through the tool to deliver "Near Dry Drilling".

How to implement through spindle lubrication

Advanced Robotic Technology (ART) is a proud Australian manufacturer of high quality metal working machinery. This video shows their Plasma and hole drilling machine under test and clearly shows how little Coolube 2210 is used and produces quality holes. There are many benefits to be gained by employing the Unist “Near Dry Drilling” mist system. In […]

Drilling holes “Near Dry”

10ml of oil per cutting hour is all the oil that this Peddinghaus beam processing machine uses. The machine incorporates a Unist MQL (Minimum Quantity Lubrication) system that precisely and with dead accurate repeatability, controls the Coolube 2210EP vegetable oil through the machine spindle.......through the tool and exits at the drill tip. There are many benefits to be gained by employing the Unist "Near Dry Drilling" system. Read about the top ten benefits of NDD. Also at the same time check out the benefits of using Coolube over other cheaper products that are on the market.
