What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Unist Australia only collects information that is reasonably necessary for one or more of our functions or activities. Generally, the information we collect about customers includes your name, address, phone number, payment information, and e-mail addresses. We collect basic contact information from our contact forms for the purposes of responding to your query, request for information or sending free trial samples of our products. Your basic contact details from these forms are saved securely on our server, which is protected by firewalls.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select "Remember Me", your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Users entering their personal information into any of the contact forms on our website will also have those details stored indefinitely for the purposes of responding to their queries and providing any follow-up information needed.

If you have an account on this site, or submitted a form, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

How we protect your data
When you interact with our website we encrypt data sent from your computer to our systems. Where appropriate, we have firewalls, password protection, intrusion detection systems and virus scanning tools to protect against unauthorised persons and viruses accessing our systems.
